During the second half of 2012 our workshop received an eclectic nightstand from the end of the 19th century with a marble top. The nightstand was stored in a garage. It was exposed to humidity and darkling beetles. Unfortunately, some of the elements were fit only for reconstruction, the top was also in a very bad condition.
Our brief analysis of nightstand’s state did not fill us with optimism. The nightstand was left without some of its legs and the rest turned to dust at touch. We had to quickly measure the single leg remaining in full to reconstruct them in accordance with their initial shape and dimensions. The tabletop proved to be made of Italian marble. Luckily, we managed to find the right specialists who helped us renovate this element.
